Not yet, but I’ve run servers before, so I know what it takes to build a solid community. I’m bringing that energy here.

Why Staff?

I’m not applying to powertrip I’m here because I know how to handle conflict without escalating it. I’ve got the RP background to spot metagaming, RDM, loophole abuse, and I’m patient enough to talk players through misunderstandings. Staff should be approachable, active, and rule smart. That’s me. My goal is to help maintain a smooth experience for everyone and keep the immersion fun but fair. Give me the tools, and I’ll get to work.

Rule Definitions (Concise)

MRDM (Mass Random Deathmatch): Killing multiple players with no RP reason.
VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch): Using vehicles to harm/kill players without RP justification.
RDM (Random Deathmatch): Killing someone without valid IC reasoning.
IC (In Character): Actions and dialogue as your RP character.
OOC (Out of Character): Anything outside the RP world Discord chats, voice calls, etc.

What is Metagaming?

Using information your character wouldn't logically know (from Discord, forums, voice chat, etc.) to gain an unfair advantage in RP. Example: hearing someone say “help me” on Discord and showing up to save them IC.

What would you do if somebody RDM’d another player?

1. Check logs to confirm.

2. Talk to both sides calmly.

3. If it’s a clear RDM, warn or ban based on server policy.

4. Educate if it seems accidental; act firmly if it was malicious.
   
   
   What would you do if somebody were prop spamming?

   1. Ask them to stop.

   2. Remove props manually.

   3. If it continues → tempban and escalate if needed.

   4. Always explain why it’s not allowed and log the situation.
      
      Rule Tiers Explain the Difference

      Tier I: Minor rule breaks (e.g., mic spam, minor failRP) Usually warnings or short temp punishments.
      Tier II: Major violations (MRDM, exploiting, hate speech) Immediate bans or escalated action, zero tolerance.
      
      
      

   Serious RP vs. Semi Serious RP

   Serious RP: Full realism. Every action must make IC sense, no jokes, full immersion.
   Semi Serious RP: Still immersive, but room for humor and creativity as long as it doesn’t break core rules or the experience for others. I prefer this balance.
   
   Staff Duties & Responsibilities

   Staff aren’t just rule enforcers they’re community guides. That means:

   • Handling tickets quickly and fairly.

   • Helping new players get started.

   • De escalating drama, not fueling it.

   • Keeping the atmosphere respectful and fun.

   • Enforcing rules with consistency, not ego.

   • Leading by example if I bend the rules, why wouldn’t others?
     

Final Notes

If I get accepted, awesome I’ll work hard and stay consistent. If not, no hard feelings. I’ll keep contributing however I can. Either way, I care about this community and want to see it thrive.

Revamped app

DENIED.

1. Although a minor issue, you have used a different layout and changed some aspects of the application; we have a template for a reason.

2. Originally, your application seemed half-arsed at the very best, and now it's just half-arsed. You made a comment "All the boring stuff", which highlights to me, you do not want to be staff to exercise your duties as staff, but most likely to abuse the permissions.

3. Finally, the conduct you have shown me and others in the past and now in this application has not been satisfactory. Don't you think it's best to carry yourself with some professionalism when applying for staff? Even though you may think "It's only a Garry's Mod server".

You may reapply for staff in the future, and I recommend you take this advice on board if you choose to do so.
