[75 words or more]: I believe I’d be a great addition to the staff team because I bring both experience and a positive mindset. I’ve served as a Senior Administrator and was part of the Server Management Team (SMT) with Jay on another server, so I understand the responsibilities that come with staffing and managing a community. I also worked as a developer for a server, which gave me useful insight into both the technical and gameplay sides of things. I’m calm, friendly, and easy to talk to, which helps a lot when dealing with reports or defusing situations. I’m genuinely excited about the server and committed to helping build a strong, fair, and welcoming community from day one. I want to be part of shaping the server into a place where players enjoy coming back, and where staff are trusted and approachable. Explain what the following words mean: (MRDM, VDM, RDM, IC, and OOC). MRDM (Mass Random Deathmatch) – Killing multiple players without a valid in-character reason. VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) – Using a vehicle to intentionally run over or kill other players without a valid roleplay reason. RDM (Random Deathmatch) –Killing another player without any in-character justification. IC (In Character) –Refers to anything said or done that is part of the character you are roleyplaying as. OOC (Out of Character) – Refers to anything outside the roleplay, like talking about real-life topics, rules, or anything not related to the roleplay. What is metagaming? Metagaming is when a player uses OOC (Out of Character) information to make decisions or take actions IC (In Character) that their character wouldn’t realistically know. For example, using information from a stream, Discord, or OOC chat to locate or act against another player unfairly. What would you do if somebody were to RDM another player? If a player RDMs another, I would start by bringing both the victim and the reported player to a sit in a secluded area. I’d ask both sides for their version of the situation and check logs for any relevant information (e.g., damage logs, kill logs, chat logs). If it’s confirmed that RDM occurred without a valid RP reason, I would issue the appropriate punishment based on the server’s rules (e.g., a warning, kick, or temporary ban). I would also explain the rule to the offender to help prevent future incidents. Finally, I’d return both players and make sure the situation is resolved fairly. What would you do if somebody were prop spamming? If someone were prop spamming, I would act quickly to prevent server lag or crashes. First, I’d freeze or remove the props using my staff powers to stabilize the server. Then, I’d teleport the player to a sit and investigate—asking why they did it and checking logs if needed. If it's clear they were intentionally trying to disrupt the server, I’d issue a punishment based on the severity of the offense, such as a kick or ban. For accidental spam (e.g., a mistake with a tool), Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments: Tier I rule-breaking typically refers to minor or first-time offenses that have a smaller impact on the server or other players, fo example: mic spam, accidental RDM, or minor FailRP. Punishments for Tier I offenses are lighter—such as a verbal warning, warning, or kick—especially if the player is cooperative and it's their first offense. Tier II rule-breaking, on the other hand, involves more serious or intentional violations that can severely disrupt roleplay or show clear disregard for the rules, for example Mass RDM, prop spamming, exploiting, or repeated offenses. These result in harsher punishments, such as bans or permanent bans. Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP: Serious RP is focused on realistic, immersive roleplay where players are expected to fully stay in character at all times. Every action and decision should make sense for the character and setting, and rule-breaking like RDM, FailRP, or metagaming is taken very seriously. There's usually little to no tolerance for messing around or treating the game like a sandbox. Semi-Serious RP still values roleplay, but it's a bit more relaxed. Players are encouraged to stay in character most of the time, but there’s more flexibility for occasional jokes or lighthearted behavior — as long as they don’t ruin the experience for others. That means dealing with rule-breakers, helping new players, resolving any issues, and keeping the community respectful and fair. It’s not just about punishing people—it’s also about guiding them, answering questions, and being a helpful, active presence on the server.
